Refusal of a new phone!!!

There is fine line between cheap and frugal. Frugal is a hard working someone "investing" time and hard work into saving money, while cheap is somebody who so stingy with money they won't even go out to buy a pair of socks to replace the ones that have so many holes they shouldn't even be considered socks. My friends...sadly I have crossed that line. It doesn't matter how much couponing and deal watching I do, it won't make for the fact I have refused to buy myself a new phone.
Ah! You might say, " Nothing wrong with getting a used one or borrowing an old." or "Just find and old one." You see my dear readers, I have a skeleton in a closet. I am that girl who went through 7 cell phones in one years, both new and old. So my problem is, I don't have old cellphones and everyone is too scared to lend me their old phones afraid to never see them again. Its a sad reality, but it true. I think after the first three the other four decided to commit suicide rather than face my clumsy hands.
However, I do have to say my Pantech is a trooper. This guys has lasted nearly 2 years! And though is screen is cracked, his mic is burned out on some days and other days it makes me sounds like a chipmonk, he still trudges on! One thing I am so proud on my pantech is that I can still text on him. And just the other day, he had the will to survive a pludge from the car roof top as I drove off, forgetting I sat him up there. Yes, this guy is one heck of phone.
And when I am desperate need to talk to someone, my husband have this system. You can't hear my voice but you can hear me press my keys! So we have this secret Morse code thingy going on. It really works! So far 1 beep for yes. 2 beeps for no. 3 beeps means maybe. Lots of beeps mean "STOP! whatever you are doing, it a crazy idea. Don't do it!"
Anyways, while I hold and text from my dilapidated phone, I hope you all enjoy your nice shiny working phones, while I snuggle and hold on to mine. Frugalness is tossed out the door and run for cheap. I refuse to get a new phone of any kind until my Pantech here is down to his last chip!

Anywhoalls, Until another day. Sorry for no pictures.

Ran a Half marathon.

You know I never thought I would do something like this, but i by God's grace and His constant push, I was able to cross the finishing line after 13.1 mile run. it was amazing and at the same time left my body super sore! I didn't really talk about it with many people, but for the last 6 weeks. i had been training myself for long distance jogging. Believe me it sounded easier than it looked, but it paid off and I plan to keep it up with jogging another one June!
The one thing about jogging is it can be done anywhere and anytime. You really don't need a set time or special gear. But i must add the special gear does help! You really only need comfy clothes and nice pair of running shoes. but if you have an ipod and ear phone, cooling and comfy jogging clothes, special sport socks, and ipod carrying case to attach to your arm, then by all means use it well. (Hubby Man bought me some for our anniversary. )
Jogging can be a simple as one mile down your road and back or like the really cool people who can run forever, you could run 10 miles every morning before breakfast. (I wish!)
What is even better though is actually doing a real half or whole marathon. Surrounded by 15,000 people all running beside you. its awesome. What is even better, 14,900, look just like you! Normal people, who look like they rolled out of bed at 3 in the morning, put on mismatched running clothes that were comfy, forgot to brush their hair and somehow found enough energy to even make the drive to downtown for a run.And by some miracle you have this huge boost of energy somehow race your first 3-4 miles in.
My favorite parts where the moral boosters. People who went out of there way to come out and cheer you on, holding there warm cups of coffee from Starbucks and holding signs like, "Run for me, because I am Lazy." "Run like you stole something." and "This is the worst parade ever."
And you can't help but laugh when a the skinny guy runs passed you in his glittery tu-tu, following by the guy in a banana costume.
And don't believe those pictures of joggers reaching for water from a waiting volunteer. And everything is all glorious. These people hand out Gatorade as well, which people drink half and dump the rest. Times that by 15,000 people, that is one sticky road and you get a cup stuck to your heal if you're not careful every time you reach a water station along the way. But there are plenty of waiting volunteers with those wondrous cups of water.
Overall running a half marathon was awesome. You can see how victorious and joyful i look from the picture below.

The Go! St. Louis Marathon, was the half marathon I ran, along with a few awesome friends for the charity called RunForHer, from the organization As our own. here's a link to there website if you like. There are few more marathons coming up in different states.

At the end of the race, you get loads of cheers, lots of pat on the back, bottled water or two, and congrats from loved one. And then you can stand like an awesome person under the finishing line, like me! :P
Anyways until another post!

Update of the Zaricor Family.

Easter!!!Yay!!! Almost here! A break from my endless list. You know this whole stay at home mommy thing is a lot harder than it looks. You know that spring cleaning list I was talking, well it doesn't end. I scratch something off constantly. Keeps getting stuff added to it!!!
And a few quick announcements! As of March 27th, Hubby Man and I have been married for 2 years! Two awesome, hardworking, mind blowing years! God willing we can make it for a lifetime!
And Baby girl can stand on her own and is trying to walk!(just another thing to add to my list of worries!)

Also wanted to share a recipe! Macaroons! The perfect Springtime Easter treat!

2 2/3 cups of finally shredded cocoanut
1/3 cups sugar
1/4 cups pastry wheat flour.(Not wheat flour. Pastry wheat flour is ground finer than regular wheat.)
3 egg whites
1 tsp of vanilla.

Preheat oven 425*

Pretty much mix everything in bowl. Put on lightly grease cookie sheet in little balls about 2 inches apart. Bake for 20-25 minutes. Volia!

Now my favorite part. Dipping the bottoms in chocolate!! Because I am poor and can;t afford a double boiler and suck at microwave cooking I broke out my fondue pot! Half a bag of Hershey's Special Dark Chocolate chips melted with tad bit of butter works great! Dip your cookies and enjoy!

On to other business.  A couple new pictures of Baby girl. My favorite one is with Habby Man holding her. :)

Also what do you guys think of the pig tail braids? Keep my hair away from my face when handling BabyGirl?

Anywhoalls! Until ANother day
