Upon New Years

So the tree sits like an ancient icon of Christmas past. The trash can still collects remnants of decorative paper of gifts unwrapped. And the cookies are long gone. We dare not get on the scale in fear of what we may see, and the thought of checking the bank account is deadly.

All signs that it is the end of year. It has been rough one some and blessed for others. I sip here drinking Chai tea latte, while Wallice and Gromit plays in the back ground, trying to catch a few moments before the children wake for the day.
Don't ya love those awkward expression  babies make?
My year ends with my son turning 1 years old and my daughter being fully trained. It was one of my roughest years, but also one with a lot of silver lined stormy clouds and peaceful moments.  It is a  bittersweet ending.

This is a painting I just started from a picture I found online. Inspired by the new Hobbit movie.

But onward to New Years. Always a new day tomorrow, but now a fresh start too a new year this time around This years resolution is to be more health conscious, but also invest some time into my art work. I already started, but I feel like I lost some of passion for art and now wish to get back into it.

I hope you can also look forward to a new year. Find something that inspires you Go and look forward to something new. It can be as simple as trying a new food or going back to school. Find something to aspire too and take a chance.

Blessings and love

Montagne Jeunesse Clay Spas

It is very important  for mothers, whether stay-at-home mommies or working mommies, to take time for ourselves. However, having a spa day whenever we feel like is not very practical, nor can it fit into the every day woman's budget. Between trying to find time to spare, a baby sitter for the little darlings, gas, and laundry still piling up at home, its hard to even take time for yourself!

Well here is a little product that can help. I am always looking for practical, frugal, and enjoyable ways to enjoy time for myself.

Montagne Jeunessusa mud masks are just the thing. They are practical, giving a spa treatment within the comfort of home. They are easy on the wallet when compared to in spa treatments. And it can be done in the comfort of your home and bathroom. What is so nifty about Montagne Jeunessusa is that its a fabric mask you place on your face. No need to mess with actual mud or thick pastes. Simply remove from the packaging and place over wet face. Enjoy a hot shower and read a book. A short time later you have refreshed face, without the tighting feeling or drying affect regular mud masks.

Very scary! Don't be afraid to scare the kiddies with this. :) It can be quite funny!

Anyway Mamas, always make sure you take some time for yourself. It is very important for mental, emotional and physical health. Even if it is just for a few moments, if you help yourself you really end up helping your family.

The mud mask was given to me by Influenster. Opinions are my own. :)
