Christmas update and going nuts

No...no that baby is not here yet. I know! You would think after eviction notice after eviction the little tike would take hike right out of my tummy and straight into my arms. However, the little booger has other ideas.

Anyways, how was everyones Christmas?  I mean who in the world stays pregnant this long!?!?! No answer that. Answer how was your Christmas question. Ignore my baby rants, I am losing my mind. How about an update of how our Christmas went?
As you can see, my little darling was having tons fun with her uncle and large roll of bubble say. I must say that is probably the best present my brother ever got for Christmas. (It would have been more fun with another little baby! It her were here!)
And of course it was chocked full of presents! Here, baby girl is enjoying the large teddy she got on Christmas day. Its now her buddy. And the thing is huge. ( Almost has huge as my belly!!!)
Here, Hubby-Man enjoys opening a present from my mom. All eleven Time Lords in little Lego figurines. I'll post another picture of them up close in another blog. Maybe new years, when baby decides to pop out...hopefully!
And day after Christmas after putting away Christmas presents, (Yes, being pregnant still!! I had enough time to put her presents away!) Baby girl decided she could put herself away too in one of hertoy boxes. How cute!

Anyways, just a brief update about the fam. (Well two of them at least. The third is a stinker and still in the belly!!!!)
Anyways, Happy holidays everyone!!!

Toodles!

The Fineries and Pleasantries of Parenthood.

Often people think becoming parents stop you from experiencing the pleasantries of life. You trade high heels for sneakers, Friday night parties for sleepless nights. Which some of that may be true, however, on the contrary of what most people think, parenting actually comes with a...higher quality of life experiences.

For one most, people think fashion sense gets tossed out the door. Oh no. I guarantee my child at such a young age has already developed a glamorous personal style.

And to top off her fashion sense, she can find style in anything even in a table runner.

One of the biggest fineries we enjoy now is art. One thing our daughter has taught us to look at art with different point of views. Really get into the art. Sometimes you have to set yourself in or "on" a masterpiece to truly understand the artist.

Here we learned from this painting that sometimes you to sit on the "flowers" of life before you can make a choice.
Oh course as an adult I have also had the choice to savor the fancier tastes in life. One thing being a parent has taught me is to enjoy lighter taste pallets.

Here, I am trying a much "finer" grape beverage of my daughter's choice. Not sure what its vintage is, but still had a sweet and fruity pallet, so only shows to true quality and value.

And after a busy day's work and excitement full of culture, posh and life experience, we always take sometime to ourselves. Here Baby Girl has taken time to set a cozy spot to enjoy some down time watching a peaceful classic fairytale (Snowhite). Afterwards she has a book by her side to read once the movie has finished.
I hope this has shown you what you learn from being a parent. Things become not only practical, but become more life altering. I would becoming a parent truly dives you into the world of culture and and passions. It truly gives a better understanding of the world.

Until another day

Picking a the perfect Christmas Tree.

Most people don;t realize this, but there is a science to picking out the perfect Christmas tree. Each year the tree will be different, but the process of getting that perfect tree is the same.

First if you are in a group, the group must select a leader to follow. Someone who is wise and has good eye for trees. One who has fierce instincts at what can be a good tree for Christmas. See a perfect example of the leader taking charge and leading the way?

Second, as a group must select and stare at a few good choices. Never make a hasty decisions! Selecting a tree takes time and effort. One bad move and you could have tree ducted taped to the wall.( Unless that is how you intend your tree to be set up. Then by all means make quick decisions!)
Here are some perfect examples of careful selection and decision making.

From the example above we even see one of the group members made a wise choice to phone a friend in making the right choice for a tree.
And the young man was good to state his opinion when needed. Everyone in the Tree Finding Team must have their say and play their part in finding the perfect tree.

And remember folks, always lean on each other. In this tough environment team work is a must. Sometimes stronger members must carry the smaller ones.
Now when selecting trees make sure you get a feel for them. Like the little lady demonstrates in the picture down below.
There is nothing worse then a tree that just doesn't feel like a Christmas tree. Now after much debate, searching staring and narrowing it down you might have found the one. (Warning: Its really only the lucky ones who get their Christmas tree on their first trip. )
Now make sure before you go tree hunting you have selected no just a leader but the tree cutter as well. The two team members are key in finding the perfect tree. Make sure the work insinc with each other or else your Christmas tree hunt could be disastrous.
The picture above of a perfect example of the two vital team members working together. See how the leader watches intently as the tree cutter does his job. Its always good to let the tree cutter do his masterful skills, but supervision is key to make sure he doesn't get to full of his tree cutting skills. :)
Now that you have cut down the one! The perfect Christmas tree. The tree cutter or someone who is deemed the tree hauler carries the tree following the leader to wear the tree must be securely tied down to the car and hauled home for decorating.

And that my friends is just the basic of find the perfect Christmas tree. There is just too much detail and chemistry to it to describe it all in just one blog. However, hopefully this gives you a feel of what you need to do. If all else fails, leave it to the professionals.

Anyways until another day.

Toodles. :)

My days spent

Being a stay-at-home mom you spend your days in the strangest ways. Between the singing with my daughters toys and taking many shwoers do to some mess WE made, you get used to it.
You even get to the point were you see those "normal" people in the world, you start think how strange they are.
I mean matching socks? These people have way to much time on there hands if they can not only mange to wash and put away there clothes but actually match socks!!! *gasp* I even heard rumors of some people actually fold their socks!
Yes, that is purple bunny fuzzy slipper sock on my left foot above.

And speaking of matching clothes. My kidmay not know what matches or what correct season of clothing to wear...or even which closet to get clothes from....BUT!!! She can dress herself!
Okay...she knows how to dress herself for the most part.:) Its Greek inspired!

But the best part about being a stay at home mom is the naps.:)

Hey, not normal here. SO picture is on its side!

Anyways, just a breif update on the house of the Zaricors and how we spend our days. :)
