Dancing Snowman and 50% off Candy

e

Okidokie. So Halloween has come on gone. And me being ahead of the game, of course I was at Walmart bright and early to get the best selection for candy, for hubby. 50% off bags of Reese's and Candy Corn, I was going to build me a stash for hubby's sweet tooth.:)
Well then to my horror, I watched as a row of employees rolled out carts of red and green in the forms of Christmas knick-knacks, lights, and little dancing snow men!!!1
Christmas!?!?! I almost fell over!

Christmas card! Gift lists! And those dancing snowmen!!! They come from no where! I almost dove behind my cart ready for action. ..then faster then I thought I could calculate there was 55 more days until Christmas. (To add to your dread, today it 53 more day until Christmas!!!)

I could imagine my self lassoed in by twinkling christmas lights! Dancing snowmen surrounding me with blown up reindeer followed that blown up santa on motorcycle. ....

Gathering my supplies of Peanut Butter Cups, Candy COrn, and taffy, I made a run for the cashier then the door. Just as I dashed out the door, I heard the music begin. "GINGLE BELLS! GINGLE BELLS!!!Christmas is on it way!" in taunting litttle elf singing voices.

Anywhoalls. After my adventure to Walmart, I am glad to say I had these verses to comfort me on the real meaning of this holiday.

    Luke 2:1-14

In those days Caesar Augustus issued a decree that a census should be taken of the entire Roman world. (This was the first census that took place while Quirinius was governor of Syria.) And everyone went to his own town to register.

So Joseph also went up from the town of Nazareth in Galilee to Judea, to Bethlehem the town of David, because he belonged to the house and line of David. He went there to register with Mary, who was pledged to be married to him and was expecting a child. While they were there, the time came for the baby to be born, and she gave birth to her firstborn, a son. She wrapped him in cloths and placed him in a manger, because there was no room for them in the inn.

And there were shepherds living out in the fields nearby, keeping watch over their flocks at night. An angel of the Lord appeared to them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were terrified. But the angel said to them, "Do not be afraid. I bring you good news of great joy that will be for all the people. Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is Christ the Lord. This will be a sign to you: You will find a baby wrapped in cloths and lying in a manger."

Suddenly a great company of the heavenly host appeared with the angel, praising God and saying,
"Glory to God in the highest, and on earth peace to men on whom his favor rests." (KJV)

Candy and lights
Until another day

Toodles!

  2. If you work in an office, you will obviously meet lots of different types of people during your day to day duties. Whether you work on a small team in a small office, or a team in a big office with other companies, there will always be 10 types of people which can be found in every single office.
